The Best Jerry, The Best.

Fox Brothers BBQ - Atlanta, GA
This place is death row good.  Everytime I read that the State of Georgia is putting someone to death and their last meal is not Fox Brothers, I am absolutely amazed.
Coopers in Llano, TX

This is everything a Texas BBQ joint should be.  From the perfectly ringed brisket on butcher paper to the slap your mama cobbler, this IS HILL COUNTRY Q.  And oh my, the goat, yes, the goat.  WOW!  The drive there is beautiful, but I needed an UBER back due to my food coma.  The jingle on their website is a classic.  Some people from Texas might be in disbelief that I put down Coopers instead of Franklin's or Kruetz's.  Get over it y'all.

Skylight Inn Ayden, NC

Boombaboombaboom.  Is that the rythmic beating of drums as I am walking in?  No, it is some super cool dude chopping up some of the best pork I have every put down my gullet.  The crackle is magical.  North Carolina had to make the list and Skylight is just plain better than Lexington.
Heirloom BBQ - Atlanta, GA

Awesome pork.  Check.  Awesome Brisket.  Check.  Korean BBQ.  Check. Solid Stew. Check.  Super cool other side dishes like Korean sweet potatoes.  Double check.  It is good enough to overlook the extreme pain in the tail to park, to order, and to receive your food.  If it had a more accessible location, it might take the ATL BBQ heavyweight crown from Fox Bros.  To avoid the extreme hassle factor just go on off hours.
